The OREI UHD48-EX230-K 18Gbps 4x4 HDMI Matrix can connect four HDMI sources to eight displays. It features four HDMI outputs and each HDMI output is mirrored to provide a CAT-Cable output that runs simultaneously. It supports the transmission of video (resolution is up to 1080p Full HD and 4Kx2K@60Hz 4:4:4) and supports HD digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Connect a CAT Receiver to each of the CAT-Cable outputs to extend the HDMI signal up to 230ft/70m for multi-room connectivity. Each HDMI output supports 4Kx2K to 1080p downscale independently. The product supports control via front panel buttons, IR remote, RS-232, LAN, and Web GUI.

You can extend the display devices up to 230 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.
The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.
If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

Please note that this product only supports the CEC function between HDMI input & HDMI output 1.
No, optical output doesn't supports CEC due to its limitations. CEC will work only with HDMI devices.
Our all the extenders supports IR Frequency & the devices using RF frequency will not be compatible with our products.
The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
