What network speed do I need to run ToVi?
For X1 Series (1080p), a standard 1Gbps network switch is sufficient. For X2/X4 Series (4K), we recommend a 1Gbps switch per encoder/decoder pair, with IGMP snooping enabled. ToVi is designed to work within standard enterprise and SMB network environments — no special hardware required.
Can I mix X1, X2, and X4 series on the same network?
Yes, with some limitations. Each series operates independently and can share the same physical network infrastructure. However, cross-series routing requires our ToVi Network Controller software. Our design team will specify the optimal configuration for your project at no charge.
How does ToVi compare to Crestron NVX or AMX N-Series?
