The UHD-EXM400-K is an HDMI™ 4K@60Hz AV over IP Extender built on advanced H.265/H.264 compression technology, designed to distribute UHD content to one or multiple UHD display devices over a standard network switch. It extends transmission distance up to 394ft/120m between encoder and decoder via a single CAT5e/6/6A cable, offering configurable high-quality, low-bandwidth video streaming.

The extender includes two units: an Encoder and a Decoder. The Encoder captures HDMI™ signals for encoding and transmission over CAT5e/6/6A cables, with an HDMI™ loop output for local monitoring or cascading. The Decoder receives and decodes the signals, outputting HDMI™ to UHD displays. Video resolution supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) on HDMI™ inputs and outputs, with 4K@30Hz IP stream transmission.

The product supports bi-directional IR and RS-232 signal transmission for flexible remote device control. Built-in Web GUI configuration allows easy setup of DHCP (APIPA) and static IP modes, picture adjustments (brightness, contrast, hue, saturation), preset and user EDID data, and logo image upload. Audio de-embedding on the decoder provides flexible audio routing.
