The AOC-C2H8K is a USB Type-C to HDMI™ UHD hybrid active optical cable (AOC) built on advanced fiber optic transmission technology, designed to deliver high-speed video and audio signals over long distances. It uses fiber optics for high-speed signal transmission and copper wires for low-speed signals, solving the limitations of traditional copper cables in long-distance applications. Fiber optic transmission provides superior resistance to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, ensuring stable, lossless signal delivery.
The cable supports USB-C input with DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode, delivering video resolutions up to 8K@60Hz with a video bandwidth of up to 32.4Gbps. It extends video and audio signals up to 5-30 meters (16-98 feet) and is fully compliant with HDCP 2.3 and HDR standards including HDR10 and HDR10+. The hybrid cable construction using 4 fiber optic strands and 7 copper wires enables long-distance lossless transmission without external power supply.
Designed for ease of use, the cable features gold-plated connectors with nylon-braided PVC for durability and longevity, and an all-metal shielding shell for excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance.
