The HD14-EX132-K HDMI Extender Splitter is ideal for transmitting media signals over CAT 6/7 cables to multiple displays across long distances. Compliant with HDCP 1.4, it delivers 4.95Gbps video bandwidth and supports resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz. It can extend(duplicate) media to four displays located up to 230ft/70m away, with an HDMI output on the Transmitter for a nearby display. It supports up to LPCM 7.1CH audio with Dolby and DTS audio formats. Featuring Power over Cable technology, the entire kit requires just one power adapter for operation. Its compact design makes it ideal for home use or smaller commercial applications.

You can extend the display devices up to 132 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.
The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.
If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
